Discipline-based Distinct Teaching Mode of Information Retrieval Course for Colleges

Abstract: Literature retrieval course of the undergraduate colleges should highlight the characteristics of subjects. The teaching model should be reformed based on the classification of subjects. This paper proposes customized solutions from several aspects including teaching content, teaching depth, scheduling, etc. It aims to improve students' ability of solving professional problems and enhance the students' information literacy substantially.
