Study on the Significance and Countermeasures of Book-crossing in University Library

Abstract: Taking the book-crossing activity in Pingdingshan University Library as an example, this paper summarized the significance to develop book-crossing movement in universities from the aspects of reading promotion, instructive function, book resource utilization and campus culture, and discussed some sustained tactics by targeting at some existing problems like publicity, regarding source, management mode and follow-up work.
