Abstract: Re-examination of manuscripts revised according to the peer-reviewers, comments has received increasing emphasis from editors at home and abroad. The necessity for re-review was analyzed from the aspects of increasing the academic quality of manuscript, promoting the interaction between the reviewer and the author and reducing the workload of final review. The workflow to handle the manuscripts needing revision was proposed from the aspects of quality judgment, revision and re-review for the editors. The possibility of increasing workload of the reviewers and prolonging the publication delay were discussed.
