Abstract: This article was based on a survey conducted on graduate students from Beijing Technology & Business University in 3 topics: library infrastructure, resource utilization and subject service. It quantitatively analyzed students’ reasons and frequency of visiting the library, methods to identify relevant scientific research resource, disadvantages encountered and most needed scholarly services. It also gained insight into students’ acceptance and satisfaction of library's various services and uncovered the differences of scientific research needs in students’ disciplines, grades and types of degree. At last, according to graduate students' research practice and preferences about the library, it proposed the strategies for improving scholarly service.
