新时期图书馆员继续教育工作研究

摘要: 近年来,随着新媒体、新技术的广泛应用和图书馆事业的高速发展,图书馆的工作重心从硬件建设逐步转向内涵建设,以用户为中心,图书馆的使命不是图书和信息、而是人。实现图书馆全面健康有序发展,关键是需要有一支拥有多学科背景和具备一定信息素养的图书馆专业技术人才。对图书馆工作人员继续教育概念进行了界定,从图书馆的转型与变革、知识半衰期理论、自身发展所需等几个方面分析了继续教育的重要性和必要性。根据目前开展继续教育工作的现状分析其所存在的问题,并提出了以顶岗实习、跨馆轮岗等方式进行图书馆专业技术人员继续教育工作的可行性意见和建议。

Abstract: With the wide application of new media and new technology as well as rapid development of library cause, the focus of library has been gradually shifted to connotation construction from the hardware construction. Focusing on the customer, the mission of library is not books or information any more. In order to realize healthy and orderly development of the library, it is essential to have professionals with multidisciplinary background and information literacy. The paper defines librarian’s continuous education and analyses its significance and necessity from the perspective of transformation of library, half-life theory of knowledge and librarian’s self-development. Based on the current situation of continuous education, the paper further puts forward some suggestions as to how to carry out professionals’ continuous education, such as post practice and rotation among different divisions in library.
