Abstract: Adding the books localization function in OPAC is an effective way to guide the readers to quickly find the books what they need. This paper investigated and analyzed the application status of the books positioning function in 140 Libsys typical users, and introduced in detail the design idea and method of application in the Libsys 5.5, and analyzed the existing problems and proposed solutions. With the available software and hardware, based on the books localization function in Libsys 5.5, the adding location navigation map for the library collection can solve the difficulty in finding books.
