Abstract: With the development of new media, great changes have taken place in the university students’ reading. By elaborating the status, influencing factors and realistic significance of university students’ classics reading in new media era, this paper analyzed the necessity of university library to guide university students to read classics, and put forward some effective measures, including strengthening resource construction, optimizing reading environment, perfecting hardware facilities and reading classic atmosphere, carrying out various forms of activities.
