Abstract: With the popularity of the Internet and the rapid of development of computer automation technology , we have entered an era of information explosion , information broke the dramatic growth of the balance supply and consumption . In thinking about how to not flooded by information , from the information found in the ocean and get useful and available data , in order to reflect on the problem and improve the utilization ratio of information data value , data mining technology to solve these problems provides a strong and effective ways and means . This article explores the application of data mining technology in library periodical management , and further analyzes the application feasibility and the necessity , to see the data mining application in library periodical management.
