Abstract: The realization of library resource sharing under the background of multimedia, has extremely important significance in many aspects like library construction, social development and individual progress. Through resource sharing, it can integrate and manage the fragmented library resource, help to form a highly ordered mode of library development and better serve the society construction. Therefore, the realization of library resource sharing in the multimedia era is the inevitable requirement of time development. This paper gave some effective suggestions on its basic principle and implementation approach.
