Abstract: The arrival of mobile Internet era has brought new challenges and opportunities to library service. The emerging of library mobile service can let readers search the library database resource, read the full text online or after downloading through a variety of handhold devices and wireless network in anytime and anyplace. Mobile service has become the inevitable choice of service mode in ubiquitous information society. This paper described the concept of mobile Internet and the necessity of carrying out mobile Internet service in digital library, and introduced the practical exploration of mobile service in Jilin Library.
