Abstract: Promoting the building of makerspace in library has important significance for library function and service innovation. In the context of growing knowledge competition, actively makerspace in library can help to promote the resource integration, transformation and upgrading, function exertion, knowledge management, and improve the core competence of library. This paper focused on the characteristics and functions of makerspace in library, and provide ideas and suggestions on how to realize the makerspace service mode innovation.
