Abstract: In recent years, book suppliers in China have been going through a slowing-down development, which has led to a new setup among them. By analyzing the development history of book suppliers in recent years, the present paper points out that book suppliers need to put their focus on individuation and distinctiveness to guarantee a long-term development in future. The book supplying magnates, who are to complete out of the many rivals in the distribution market, will cause long-term impact upon the development of libraries. On account of the above situations, the paper intends to put forward some proposals from the perspectives of resource allocation and bidding & purchasing of libraries.
