Abstract: It is an integrated agricultural academic periodical which is distributed openly at home and abroad, and which is also the first one that was started in Xinjiang with the most influential power in agriculture. In order to make the fullest use of its advantages in exchange of scientific and technological information in agriculture and in displaying its relevant outcomes and information feedback, this paper intends to analyse the general current situation in agricultural research, related organizations, research teams’ research dynamics and development tendencies in the year 2013 from the perspective of papers sources, the composition of subject branches, the structure of the corresponding authors and the number of papers supported by annual fund programs. What is being done aims to provide scientific reference for all the research organizations, management and decision making departments of higher institutions to accurately understand their research progress and academic dynamics and evaluate the creative capacity, vitality, influential factors and performance of individual research members, their teams, project groups and scientific research sectors.
