摘要: 3D虚拟现实技术是综合利用计算机图形系统、各种显示及控制等接口设备,在计算机上生成交互式的三维环境,并能为用户提供沉浸感觉的一种技术。目前,受硬件设备配置及网络通信速度等影响,3D虚拟现实技术在数字图书馆上的应用仍未得到普及。而4G网络以高速数据传播、价格实惠及应用服务多元等优势为3D虚拟现实技术在图书馆中的应用创造了有利条件。4G网络时代的到来为图书馆开展3D虚拟图书阅读、教学视频播放、虚拟培训及会议等多元服务提供了新方向。

Abstract: 3D virtual reality technology is the integrated utilization of computer graphics systems, various of display and controlling interface device. It can generate an interactive 3D environment in computer, Providing users with an immersive feeling environment. Currently, however, due to limits of hardware configuration and network communication speed, the 3D virtual reality technology has not been universally applied in digital libraries. On the other hand, because of advantages of high-speed data transmission, reasonable price and multi-application services, 4G networks, create favorable conditions to the application of 3D virtual reality technology in libraries. Moreover, the arrival of the 4G networks era provides new directions for multiple service of libraries to carry out 3D virtual book reading, multi-service teaching video playback, and virtual training and conferences, etc.
