    A Visual Analysis on Research in Wetland Biodiversity Besed on CiteSpace

    Based on cognition of importance of wetland biodiversity and methodology of Citespace knowledge mapping, visual analysis on scale, force, space, feeler, hot spots, leading edge and knowledge foundation of research in wetland biodiversity were carried out with Web of Science as data source and by CiteSpaceⅤ.The benign developing sate of the field was cleared.The general plans of deepening cooperating, rationalizing sequence of ideas, tamping basis, paying close attention to hot spots and breaking leading edges were raised for research in the field developing in depth.

    Taking the retrieval system of Shanghai intellectual property right (patent information) public service platform as the source of statistics, this paper analyzed the patent application, layout, technical research focus, applicant and the research direction of main applicants in China with the help of patent information analysis method, and revealed the distribution law and characteristics of tomato patent technology, and explored the technological innovation ability and technology level, so as to provide a reference for the field of tomato technology research.

    ESI and InCites-based Analysis of Scientific Research Collaboration Status between China and the One Belt One Road Countries

    Taking the SCIE, SSCI and ESI papers co-published by China and 64 countries in the Belt and Road initiative area from 2008 to 2017 as the research data, this paper analyzed the research cooperation intensity, the depth of cooperation, cooperation scope and influence, respectively from the total number of cooperation papers, number of ESI cooperation, the number of cooperative papers accounting for the total number of articles published in the country, the first author and corresponding author countries, research institutes and research field, so as to provide reference for building cooperated mechanism between the national scientific research institutions and international scientific and technological organizations of China and countries in the Belt and Road initiative area. The results showed that the total number of papers and the number of ESI papers maintained growth trend and China played a growing important role in the ESI papers published by the Belt And Road countries. ESI papers which collaborated by China and more than two Belt And Road countries were less, developed countries, especially the USA played important role in cooperation. Collaborative ESI papers were distributed in the journal with high influence in all disciplines, and clinical trials and epidemiology, high-energy nuclear physics and particle physics, carbon nanocomposites, and network model design and algorithms are hot topics.

    In order to better understand the development status and trend of tomato industry in China and provide the reference for the related technology breakthrough, this paper used the incoPat intelligence science and technology innovation platform as retrieval and analysis tools, to analyzed the number of applications, application region and its technical composition, types of patent and applicants, the patentee and its technical form, IPC forming and its technological changes. Results showed, Chinese tomato related patent applicants were mainly enterprises, colleges and universities and individuals, patent applications were mainly concentrated in Anhui, Jiangsu, Beijing, Shandong, etc., The core technology of tomato patent was mainly composed of food or food preparation and treatment, horticultural cultivation, microorganism or enzyme and its composition, fertilizer or pesticide or soil conditioner, etc. Tomato industry should develop genes with more important value and establish the efficient regeneration and transformation system, use molecular techniques combined with traditional breeding techniques and breed tomato varieties with the resistance to the diseases and insect, strengthen the proprietary intellectual property rights consciousness and develop and broaden the new technology, realize the differentiation development with foreign technology and strengthen patent strategy research.

    The Research Situation and Countermeasures of Biology in Southwestern University ——Based on the Perspective of Bibliometrics

    In order to promote the country's construction plan of world-class universities and first-class disciplines, build a powerful country of higher education, this paper analyzed the research trend of constructing the first-class biological disciplines in Southwest University based on Web of Science, InCites and ESI databases by using bibliometric method, and put forward the suggestions for discipline construction. The results showed that the number of biological papers of Southwest University collected in WoS increased year by year but with few scale and poor quality; the number of people who published papers and per capita papers were fewer; the overall quality of international cooperated papers was high but with a low proportion; the core authors were XIA Qingyou and YUAN Ruo and the core colleges were College of Biotechnology, College of Life Science, College of Plant Protection and College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering; some papers published in publications were not reasonable. Based on above, some related suggestions were put forward: establishing the incentive mechanism of biologic marginal discipline; paying attention to the training and introduction of talents; encouraging and advocating international cooperation; selecting the appropriate journal to publish paper.

    Taking the literature on university library informatization included in Web of ScienceTM core collection in recent years as data source, this paper used citesapce R8 version 5.1 to analyze the country/region field distribution, subject citation situation, research focus and research topic change and future trends. The results showed that :(1) there was a lack of research in this field and less information in literature. (2) the study of national/regional distribution was led by the United States and mostly in developed countries/regions. (3) digital library, information management, networking, electronic journals, information literacy, humanization and systematization were the main research hotspots. (4) the individualized information service research of university library network resource, the socialization construction of university library information resource repository and the talent team construction of university library informatization were the main topic of academic research. (5) the construction of socialization, intellectualization, systematization and individuation of university libraries and the construction of talent team were the trend of future research.

    With the strategic planning of Double First-rate proposal, universities pay more attention to their own advantage disciplines and construction of the subject, especially for the analysis of potential disciplines in order to speed up the construction of world-class disciplines, the process of promoting the first-class universities in the world. On the basis of ESI and InCites database, making the comprehensive analysis of the research output of computer science discipline in Hefei University of Technology from the number of published papers, citation, highly cited papers, first author/corresponding author, cooperating areas and institutions, keywords in the last decade(2007-2017). The present situation and development trend of scientific research strength of this discipline are studied by CiteSpace. After the discipline has entered the ESI ranks of the world's top 1%, evaluations and proposals that the author puts forward are contributed to promote the development of the discipline.

    Research Status and Hotspot Analysis of China's Information Policy

    With the tide of modernization information sweeping around the world, it is urgent to make rational information policy and guide the development of information, and the research of information policy has become an important research field of intelligence science in China. Taking the information policy research literature from CNKI as the data source, this paper used the information visualization software Citespace and Ucinet to conduct co-occurrence analysis and cluster analysis of the subject information keywords of the information policy literature, and made a high-frequency keyword multidimensional scale analysis map, revealing information policy research hotspots and development trends. At present, the research hotspots mainly focused on the comparison of information policies, laws and regulations, information resource management, information security, and e-government service in China, the United States, Japan, and other countries, including four social most important aspects of law, economy, security, political. It should formulate reasonable information policies to reduce the gap with developed countries and establish a sound information policy system.

    Analysis on Research Competitiveness of Hebei's Universities Based on ESI and InCites

    Under the background of the "Double First-Class" construction, according to the actual situation of province, most provinces have launched a corresponding "Double First-Class" construction schemes. Scientific research competitiveness, as one of the important measuring indicators, has an important guiding significance for decision making. Taking ESI and InCites database as the data source, this paper analyzed the research competitiveness of 7 universities in Hebei province which ranking in ESI, mainly from four aspects of scientific research, such as scientific research innovation, productivity research and research development of influence force, and drew that research productivity and growth trend were good, while scientific research innovation and development ability were relatively weak with less influence. Hebei's overall competitiveness of scientific research is weak, and need a series of measures with joint efforts and collaborative development.

    Under the background of "Double First-rate" strategic plan, the number of highly cited papers has become the important index to measure the research level of a college. Most current researches have studied the hotspots of highly cited papers from the perspective of subject, with less focusing on the specific institution, comparing the highly cited papers with total papers to summarize their inside and outside features and rules. In order to fully understand the current situation of highly cited papers in Shenzhen University, and provide reference and suggestion on how to cultivate highly cited papers based on ESI and InCites database, this paper analyzed and compared the total highly cited papers in Shenzhen University based on ESI and InCites, with the articles and reviews in nearly 10 years in SCIE/SSCI, including the subject, research fields, high yield journal, high yield authors, co-operating institutions and funding institutions in detail. Based on this, it predicted the potential highly cited papers in Shenzhen University, and compared the other 12 local comprehensive universities and some typical universities in Guangdong province with Shenzhen University on the macro level. The results showed, the scientific research level in Shenzhen University was improving continuously, and the number of highly cited papers was also increasing year by year, while there were still some gaps compared with Shanghai University and Zhengzhou University. In addition to strengthening efforts in scientific research, Shenzhen University should strengthen international exchanges and cooperation, and library should provide targeted subject service combining with data analysis.

    To understand and evaluate the international competitiveness of China in this filed objectively and correctly, this paper adopted the method of literature metrology analysis and set quantitative indicators to evaluate the performance of China's aquatic genetic breeding from the aspects of productivity, influence, excellence and cooperation, and compare with the top 10 countries. Study results showed that China's number of SCI papers was the second in the world, maintaining a rapid growth in recent years; China's overall influence was more than other countries, but weaker on average; China was lack of papers with high influences; China didn't participate in international cooperation actively and was at the edge of the cooperation network. On this basis, it gave corresponding propositions.

    Academic Influence and Reason Analysis on SCI-indexed Journals in Remote Sensing Field

    Main citation indicators of SCI-indexed journals for different countries were investigated to understand their development situation and international status in the field of remote sensing and remote sensing journals, especially for China. Database of Web of Science (WOS) and Journal Citation Reports (JCR) were used to collect SCI-indexed remote sensing journals and their published papers during 2010–2014, and then total articles, influence factor, total cites and international paper ratio of 25 journals for 10 countries were analyzed by means of TDA software. Number of journals sponsored by USA and UK ranked in the top 1 and 2 of the world, were respectively 74% of total articles and 76% of total cites during 2010 and 2014. Journals from USA, Holland and Switzerland were world's leading totally. Impacts and international level of China's only one journal was relatively high. International degree of German's journals was slightly affected due to one of the two journals published by German language. British's journals had general impact level. 98% of China's SCI papers in the field of remote sensing during past five years were published in other countries' journals, especially for those sponsored by USA, UK, Holland and Switzerland. Professional remote sensing SCI journal was still scanty in China, which did not match with the discipline development. Based on the analysis, we recommended strongly to found new professional journals to promote academic exchange and achievements spread among Chinese scholars, as well as to improve international status and enhance global impacts in remote sensing of China.

    The existing research achievement analysis mainly concentrated on a university or a discipline with less in the view of a college. In order to understanding the real relative position of College of Optoelectronic Engineering in Shenzhen University in domestic and global colleges objectively, this paper filtered out and compared 1307 papers of the college in recent 11 years based on the collection of related literature. Using ESI and InCites databases and TDA data analysis tool, it comprehensively scanned the output number, total citations and the distributions of cooperative institutions, research fields and periodicals of SCI- E papers in optoelectronics field as well as College of Optoelectronic Engineering in Shenzhen University respectively. As a whole, the output of scientific research of this college was increasing year by year, and the number of highly cited papers was relatively low and the frequency of citations also needed to be improved, which should pay more attention to the hot topics and frontiers and strengthen the cooperation and communication with international high-level institutions.The research achievement could provide theoretical data basis for formulating discipline development strategy, and provide practical experience about how to use ESI and InCites for the other college librarians at the same time.

    Bibliometrics Analysis of China's Publication on First-class International Entomological Journals (2007-2016)

    Based on SCI indexed research papers published by Chinese scientists in 7 top entomology journals between 2007-2016, publishing trends, institutes, reprint authors, cooperation authors, cooperation institutes and cooperation countries were counted and analyzed. The results revealed that numbers of China's research papers of entomology published in high level international journals were increasing quickly in recent decade, with lower number of invited reviews. Among all institutes, Nanjing Agricultural University, Chinese Academy of Sciences and Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences were high-yielding ones, and most corresponding authors were from these institutes. It also found low proportion of international cooperation in Chinese entomology research, which should be strengthened.

    In order to understand the popular theme and future development trend of smart library research in recent years, CNKI was selected as the retrieval database, and research papers about smart library in the CNKI database in 2010-2016 as a statistical source.With the help of BICOMB2 bibliographic analysis system, SPSS19.0 statistics and other tools, this paper extracted the key words from the word frequency statistics, and constructed the word matrix and co-word matrix to make cluster analysis. It found that the research hot spots in the field of smart library in 2010-2016 mainly focused on the five aspects of smart service, smart technology, smart resource, smart librarian and smart practice, and finally made a detailed analysis.

    Study on the Development Status of Plant Factory Related Technologies Based on Patent Map

    Plant factory (PF) is the product of industrialization of agricultural cultivation, and the main development direction of vegetable cultivation in twenty-first Century. It is the highest form of agricultural development in the future and the most investment value of new industry in the future. Based on the patent map of plant factory related technologies, the development status was investigated from the development trend, key technology fields, regional distribution, and rival agencies, to provide intelligence support for further development of plant factory industry and technologies by related government, companies, universities and research institutes. Research results indicated that plant factory related technologies began a rapid development around 1993 and up to now.Regional distribution of priority patents were mainly concentrated in China and Japan, followed by South Korea and the United states. Cultivation of flowers, vegetables or rice in receptacles, forcing-frames or greenhouses and hydroponics or cultivation without soil horticulture, self-acting watering devices were key technologies of R&D.China had great R&D enthusiasm towards plant factory related technologies in recent years, and applied a large number of patents.However, compared to Japan and USA, the patent quality of China was a bit lower and China lacked core patents.Thus, the technological level of China in plant factory field remained to be further improved, and the task of industrialization was still arduous.

    Visualized Analysis on Domestic Library Wechat Research

    Evaluation of Funding Effect on Young Scientist Fund Program of the NSFC in Rice, Wheat and Corn

    The relationship between funding input and output is related to the performance evaluation, the enthusiasm of researchers and the development of science and technology in china. In this study, we collected the projects funded by the "Young Scientist Fund Program of the NSFC" in the field of rice, wheat and corn from the Internet based Science Information System, and qualitatively and quantitatively analyzed the characters of funded SCI-papers based on the Web of Science dataset. The evaluation indexes, such as percent of projects funded for SCI-collected papers, average number of funded SCI-collected papers for single project, percent of SCI-collected papers authored by project leader as the first or corresponding author, average citations per paper, average impact factor per paper etc, revealed that the researchers in the rice field had stronger strength, the project leaders in the wheat filed had more potential, and the corn field had better efficiency. Analysis of subject and unit distribution showed that the biological sciences subject (76.1%) and the Colleges and Universities (58.3%) were the major, respectively. Each crop has its predominance, and thus the differentiated development strategy should be adopted, on the one side to strictly check the subject in the field of rice, and on the other side to increase the support in the field of wheat and corn discipline.

    Academic research basis is the inherent logic of the construction of first-class discipline. This paper used the C100 index evaluation system to analyze the overall situation of academic productivity in psychology in China from the perspective of periodicals, institutions and authors. It found that psychology interdisciplinary research ability was not strong, "first-class" academic productivity was relatively weak, the team size was too small, and the relationship between the discipline of psychology and the university was complex. To establish "first-class" psychology, it must keep the dual focus with discipline oriented and problem oriented, maintain the relative balance between the evolutionary power and the optimization power of discipline, and realize the common concern of the introduction and cultivation of high-level academic talents.
