Study on Digital Literacy Program of Public Library

Abstract: In the digital age, all the aspect of social life is rapidly being digital. Digital Literacy is indispensable for everyone in the 21th century.As the public welfare organization supporting the development of individual and the whole society, public library should carry out the digital literacy program. This paper firstly discussed the definition and contents of digital literacy, and then analyzed the necessity for public library to implement the digital literacy program, and finally suggested public library should make good use of e-reading room to conductdigital literacy program and improve the public informationliteracy by changing ideas, updating resource, introducing talents and perfecting the management.
