Research on the Training path of College Students’ Information Literacy in University Library

Abstract: Aiming to improve college students’ consciousness and ability of using information, cultivate and develop the information literacy of students by various ways such as library and so on, through the questionnaire and network survey, this paper investigated college students' information consciousness and search ability, information processing ability, information security awareness and information moral consciousness, and explored the way of information literacy training for college students based on the advantages of library as the information resource center for the retrieval, analysis and utilization of information. The results showed that the lack of humanistic quality education and the low utilization rate of library resources hindered the improvement of college students' information literacy. It then proposed that university should play the advantages of library and improve the level of information literacy of college students, through various ways just like strengthening the construction of library resource and website and carrying out the education and training of the readers, and strengthening the teaching reform of course.
