Research on the Process Re-engineering of University Library’s Book Acquisition Service Oriented to Knowledge Service

Abstract: This paper researched on the process re-engineering of university library’s book acquisition service oriented to knowledge service, and analyzed how the university library’s book acquisition service to determine the development goal from the concept of knowledge service, and put forward the necessity of business process re-engineering. It pointed out the elements of process re-engineering for university library’s book acquisition business with knowledge service oriented, and finally proposed the process re-engineering strategies.
