Study on Knowledge Organization of Library Professional Virtual Communities Based on Ontology

Abstract: The library professional virtual community is the development direction of digital library construction, it is a new initiative of deepening the library subject knowledge services. Discusses the significance and advantages of building library professional virtual community, knowledge organization concept of library professional virtual community, the source of knowledge and knowledge characteristics, elaborates the advantage of knowledge representation and organization principle of library professional virtual community based on ontology, explores the knowledge organization modeling method of library professional virtual community, such as molecular biology.
