Importing 6S Management System into Big Circulation Service Mode for University Library An Case of Shandong University Library

Abstract: Aiming at the early construction, outdated layout and old facilities in liberal arts branch and medical branch of Shandong University Library, big circulation service mode was implemented by importing 6S on-site management system which was widely applied in enterprise management. The specific ideas containing seiri, seiton, seiketsu, shitsuke, safety, saving were comprehensively applied in the practice of library to improve the environment of library and meet readers' needs for literature information, as well as play the overall efficiency of collection resources and improve the service quality and readers' satisfaction.
