Study on Paper Documents Purchasing Scheme in University Library Based on Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation Model

Abstract: It is of great significance to find out the purchasing scheme for paper documents in university libraries, with regard to the scientific management of books acquisitioning and the improvement of readers' satisfaction. Based on fuzzy mathematics theory, this paper put forward the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model with paper documents' weight in university libraries. The basic data of this model came from readers' check out records and expert rating. It was built with hierarchy process, and the first model was used to calculate the membership value of book value, book distribution and update rate. Then, those three factors were used as the influencing factors of book weight to establish the second fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model for the weight of each category books, which was regarded as the purchasing scheme based on the program. It can provide a basis and scheme for the allocation of books purchase funds based on fuzzy comprehensive evaluation with certain rationality and operationality.
