Design and Layout of Learning Commons in Intelligent Library Environment

Abstract: [Purpose/Significance] Learning Commons is an integral part of the library. The analysis, research and summary of the design and layout of learning commons can provide some reference for the construction of learning commons in other universities. [Method/Process] Taking Taizhou Polytechinc College as the research object, this paper introduces the design concept, goal and practice of learning commons, and puts forward some thoughts based on the problems existing in the practice process and the future development. [Results/Conclusions] To learn the design and layout of learning commons, we need to deepen cooperation and achieve win-win cooperation; combined with user portraits, provide accurate service; highlight cultural connotation and emphasize aesthetic value; build multiple spaces and establish green concepts; construct virtual spaces and promote dynamic learning.
