Abstract: SoLoMo mode library is a concept proposed with the development of mobile information technology and social communication, the function of which is gradually changing from information service to knowledge service with social, local, mobile knowledge service. University library with the characteristics of younger readers and fixed service area, is more suitable for SoLoMo mode development. This paper first introduced the concept, characteristics and application of SoLoMo mode library, and then studied the problems to be solved in the change process of university library from traditional mode to SoLoMo mode.
