The Trend and Hotspots of Agricultural Technology Diffusion in Domestic and Foreign Areas

Abstract: [Objective]This study provides reference for the relevant studies throughout the researches of the development of agricultural technology diffusion. [Methods]According to domestic and foreign research about agricultural technology diffusion, this paper uses the software of CiteSpace III to sort out those literature and to compare their status, contention and development trend. [Results]Foreign research focused on agricultural environment protection and disaster management, which will always become the frontier trend of future research; domestic research focuses on the analysis of agricultural technology diffusion from a macro perspective, and temporal as well as spatial diffusion of agricultural technology and the diffusion mechanism of agricultural technology based on rural social network will become the main trend of current and future research on agricultural technology diffusion in China.[Conclusions]There are significant differences between the foreign and domestic research of agricultural technology diffusion from the perspectives of status and hot points, and domestic researchers need to explore new research fields by taking foreign research directions as references.
