Discussion on the Function Expansion and Realization of University Library under Think tank Concept

Abstract: Under the new situation, the progress of all industries is inseparable from the persistence of innovation. University library should not only realize innovative development, but also expand broader new functions and equip with more complete library service. Improving library functions should be combined with social responsibilities and roles of the development of universities. When the think tanks provide good policies for social economic development, meanwhile university libraries can also extend their own functions by timely adopting new concepts of think tanks and serve the think tanks. In the new stage, think tank concept is in line with the long term process of library development, fundamentally accelerating the innovation and development of the libraries.
