Investigation and Analysis of Freshmen Service in University Library

Abstract: Through investigating the status of freshmen service in university libraries, this paper analyzed the aspects of freshmen library entrance education, freshmen column, freshmen theme activities, and the new media application in freshmen service, and pointed out the existing problems, including that specialized service personnel was insufficient, service consciousness needed to be improved, service content should be further expanded, and then put forward some countermeasures, like arranging freshmen service personnel, strengthening the service concept, carrying out freshmen service in the new season and freshmen reading promotion activities, as well as human library activities for freshmen.
