Innovation and Responsibility and Development——Study on the Living Library Service of University Library

Abstract: At present, university library service has encountered the dilemma shown as the contradiction between traditional negative service and readers’ diversified demands. The appearance of Living Library has renewed the concept of present library service and obtained new idea for the development of library. This thesis discussed the source, development and significance of Living Library, and analyzed the strengths and weaknesses of university library in developing human-book service, and then put forward suggestions on improving relevant system and resorting to laws to protect the privacy right of readers.
