Abstract: Taking the construction of characteristic resource platform on women/gender studies in China Women’s University Library as an example, the paper stated the research background and research missions of characteristic resource platform construction, and described the construction of characteristic resource platform from the following aspects, including design of characteristic resources platform, technical standards and data quality, etc., and finally proposed some suggestions.
