Abstract: According to the demand characteristics of editor staffs in scientific periodicals, this paper probed into the training and construction path of scientific periodicals’ editor team by taking Journal of Henan Agricultural Sciences as an example. It was found that rational editors’ majors, education backgrounds, ages and professional titles were essential to the construction of editor team. Special attention to professional ethics education as well as pre-career training through various ways was also important to the talent training.
