Analysis of Academic Influence of Provincial Agricultural Scientific Periodicals from CSTPCD

Abstract: Nine kinds of provincial agricultural scientific periodicals from the China Science and Technology Periodical Citation Report (Core) in 2010~2012 were analyzed and their academic influence were evaluated with dynamic evaluation models. Nine parameters were analyzed including source document amount, total quoted frequency, impact factor, immediacy indicator, rate of cited by others, ratio of funded articles and so on. The results indicated that the academic influence of the nine periodicals showed an increasing trend year by year. The periodical of Jiangsu Academy of Agricultural Sciences had the largest academic influence. The growth rate of academic influence with diversity and unbalancedness was different between different periodicals, which affected by developing level of regional agriculture.
