On the Promotion of Classical Reading-- A Case Study on Classical Literature Reading Rooms at University Libraries

Abstract: To help university students benefit more from classical reading, this paper examines the effects of classical literature reading rooms from book selecting, book cataloging and shelving, and the source of their copies. It also examines the promotion of classical reading from freshman education, classical video presentation, award ceremony of classical literature writing contest, and the application of classical literature reader cards.
