Abstract: This paper discusses the contents, features, and elements of special collections and services at multicultural collection in the Guangzhou library, analyses and probes the making of the brand of the multicultural collection, and proposes managing and operating the special services as a library brand. Based on a survey on multicultural needs of readers, the paper analyses and summarizes aspects of the history and policies of Guangzhou library’s multicultural services, the development and utilization of multicultural collection resources, and of the methods of service and practice.
