Study on Ancient Books Digitization Present Situation in Northwest Region and the Construction of the Standardization

Abstract: The northwest region has a long history, many ancient books, rich content and profound influence, such as Dunhuang posthumous papers, Northwest minority characteristic literature on the library collection construction and Northwest ancient study provides important information, but scattered many folk literature and improper library hidden reservoir of ancient books, which need to be explored, arranged and protected. This thesis mainly expounds the Northwest regional literature gathering, protection, utilization of the main methods and principle. It analyzes the Northwest ancient books digitization status quo and defects .It offers beneficial reference to ancient books digital library construction development and national standard of local cultural accommodation.
