Role Definition and Practical Route of Library under Digital Humanities Circumstance

Abstract: As a burgeoning academic field, digital humanities is the integration product of digital technology and humanities science, which provides an innovative research paradigm for humanistic researches, at the same time, brings development opportunities to library service in the information age. Under digital humanities circumstance,library needs to further clarify and reposition roles, actively participate in the digital humanities research, and explore the practical route corresponding with the demands of the times as well, involving the publicity and promotion for digital humanities, general software development and database construction of humanities, data quality and research skills training, participation in the organization construction of digital humanities research center.
