Bibliometric Analysis on Agrometeorological Disasters in China Based on CNKI Database

Abstract: An visualized analysis about agrometeorological disasters research from 2000 to 2016 was conducted to evaluate the current trends by using bibliometric, social network analysis and other classified statistics methods, form the distribution of main authors and institutions, journal and research hotspots, cooperative network of authors and organizations. The results showed that the amount of published articles experienced great growth during 2000-2016. The main authors publishing more than 4 papers mainly involved in the subjects of prevention and evaluation of agrometeorological disasters. Most authors came from governmental agency and most articles were published on agricultural and geological journals. According to the word frequency analysis, meteorological disasters, impacts and agricultural production were the research hotspots. The main cooperative network of authors were composed of Huo Zhiguo, Wang Chunyi and Guo Jianping, and Chinese Academy of Meteorological Sciences played a dominant role in the cooperative network of organizations. This paper revealed the status and trends of agrometeorological disasters research activities, which can provide reference for the researchers.
