Application of Grey Relational Analysis Method in the College Libraries’ Books Acquisition

Abstract

Abstract: In order to make the books acquisition can truly reflect the actual needs of discipline construction and readers in the in universities, and optimize the collection structure of the University Library. We selected the indexes including library collection, book circulation, key discipline construction, and comments of readers, etc, and used gray relational analysis method to analyze to assess the importance of all kinds of books in the university Library. The evaluation results can provide scientific reference and technical support for the books acquisition planning and book acquisition funds allocation.
