Establishment and Evaluation of Evaluation Index System for Sci-tech Periodical Websites of Jiangsu Province

Abstract: The evaluation system for periodical websites was established based on four indexes, i.e., website construction, content, function and management, the weights of which were confirmed and the technical analysis was applied on the indexes. On this basis, the scores and grades of 145 sci-tech periodical websites with independent domain name in Jiangsu province were evaluated and the scores of different indexes were analyzed. At last, the existing problems were pointed out, and the opinions and suggestions on the construction and maintenance of websites were presented.
