Reformation of PBL Teaching Approach in Information Retrieval Courses

Abstract: Aiming at the drawbacks of classical teaching schemes in the Information Retrieval course for college students, we analyze the feasibility, basic idea, practical conditions, etc. when applying the PBL approach. Consequently, we propose the reformation design of the teaching scheme by introducing the PBL approach into the Information Retrieval course.
