Abstract: In order to understand the current situation and development trend of forestry universities in the field of humanities and social sciences, this paper made a bibliometric analysis on academic achievements of humanities and social sciences about six forestry universities in the Chinese Social Science Citation Index (CSSCI). The results reflected the scientific research level and development of subject of humanities and social sciences in forestry universities. By analyzing the academic achievements and references of humanities and social sciences, it provided the basis for the collection optimization of university libraries, as well as scientific and accurate evaluation data and theoretical basis for discipline construction and scientific research evaluation.
