Abstract: China National Microfilming Center has been micrographing amount of masterfilms by the last 30 years, but the bibliographic data of those masterfilms are still unfinished. The book analyzes its reasons and points up the far-reaching significance of masterfilm bibliographic data making. It will has the significant value on masterfilm's long-term preservation and management if we attempt to design different bibliographic format based on the different masterfilm type,and implement the articulate between bibliographic data and each masterfilm.
