The research on the operation mechanism of micro knowledge ecosystem of smart library can provide the theoretical basis for new knowledge service, guarantee the effective optimization and integration of knowledge resource, and realize the service upgrade. Based on a brief analysis about four major elements of micro-knowledge ecosystem of smart libraries, this paper probed into the causes of its formation from three aspects: social development, technological progress, knowledge enrichment, optimization and adjustment, demand-driven and service upgrade, and focused on the life cycle of the micro-knowledge ecosystem of intelligent libraries, and finally discussed the operation mechanism from cooperation, circulation and guarantee. In e-publishing era, with the impact of digital publishing, paper document acquisition in university libraries in ethnic areas is in a state of disorder. According to Akaike Information Criterion (AIC) and the minimum relative error criterion, it selected the optimal ARIMA-ARCH model to fit the data and predict the prospect effectively. According to the forecast, the borrowing capacity would continue to decrease slowly in the future with yearly period, so as to provide valuable information to library managers. In recent years, the development of communication science is rapid with abundant research direction and subjects, but its subject development context and hot research topics urgently require systematic and intuitive analysis and display. In order to help explore and reveal the hot topics and popular subject-method in this field, this paper proposed LDA ( Latent Dirichlet Allocation) topic extraction method based on the perspective of classification. Taking the the periodical literature on communication field as the research objects, it used LDA topic model to extract the topic of classified literature collections and divided the selected 30 hot topics into two categories: subjects and methods. Through the deep analysis of subject-method, it revealed the knowledge point of hot topics. Experimental results indicated that this method can detect discipline theme and research hot spots in a more comprehensive and in-depth way.
