Competitive Situation Analysis of Tianjin’s Bio-pharmaceutical Patents

Abstract: The bio-pharmaceutical industry is one of strategic emerging industries with high investment and high profit, which obtains the support of many countries and regions and is being at the fast development phase. The basic indicators of Tianjin’s bio-pharmaceutical patents were studied by using various IPC patent No. in SooPAT (Chinese Patent Search Platform), to provide competitive intelligence for Tianjin’s bio-pharmaceutical industry. By comparing the basic indicators of bio-pharmaceutical patents between Tianjin and Beijing-Shanghai-Chongqing and several regions, the development condition and competitive situation of Tianjin’s bio-pharmaceutical patents were evaluated, and some suggestions were given.
