Abstract: library philosophy, as a departmental philosophy, pursues the essence and significance of library, and also guides and reflects on the practice of library. However, due to the closure of academic boundary of library philosophy and the shield of the technical rationality of librarians, library philosophy has become a noble subject, which hindered the realization of its value. Through the spreading of academy, more librarians could construct their own personal library philosophy.
