Abstract: In the Internet era, the rapid development of information technology, the emergence of new media, give the birth to public library reform. This paper studied the innovation of public library in new media service, gave a detailed description of new media service in Jiangxi Library, and by aiming at the existing problems of public library in the new media service, put forward that under the background of Internet, public library should strengthen the publicity and promotion of new media, integrate social interaction, perfect the new media service platform, integrate new media resource, develop new media service means; enrich the new media service technologies, provide personalized, refined new media service.
