Abstract: Big data is not the description of the amount of data, but an analysis technique of data, which obtains information from various of data and great quantity of data. The characteristic of big data is volume, variety, velocity and veracity. Big data can be used in politics, economics, technology and other field. With the development of the information and net technology, university library obtains great quantity of data. University library is facing with challenge in the design of network structure, data storage and processing of data. University library needs to unify the format of big data, achieve high efficiency storage and process unstructured data.
