Study on Chinese Newspaper Cataloging and Standardization

Abstract: Based on CNKI (China National Knowledge Infrastructure) and 30 papers published in Journal of Dalian Ocean University during 2003-2012, the main factors formed highly cited papers are discussed. The result shows that subject characteristics, high-level funds, emerging hot areas within marine aquaculture have become the main factors of highly cited publication and the role of paper authors’ domestic professional is not obvious. This study can provide references for Journal of Dalian Ocean University within the selected topics, organization of manuscripts, etc.
