The Impact of Digital Technology on the Tradition Library Marketing Mode

Abstract: The vast application of digital technology had made our life fast paced. In terms of traditional book reading, lots of people lost their interest in the virtual reading of books and instead turned to digital reading. Thus the conventional ways of reading is largely decreased. Under this situation, traditional management of library is under the pressure of reform and need to be more competitive in order to meet the market needs. Combined with digital applications, the traditional management of library can survive and thrive in the current market. Practical strategies such as "customised bookstore + tailored services", "digital bookstore+digital trading services" can be used to tackle the current issues thus to keep the traditional book market customers and increase the market competitiveness.
