Statistics Analysis and Research on Agriculture-related Journals in SCI from 2013 to 2014

Abstract: The basic situation of 900 kinds of agriculture-related journals was statistically analyzed according to the journal citation reports from 2013 to 2014 compiled by Institute for Scientific Information (ISI).It was pointed out that the journals mainly distributed in the four countries, including United States, Britain, Netherlands and Germany, and published mainly in English. SCI included only 17 kinds of Chinese agriculture-related journals with narrow coverage, unbalanced subject distribution and low impact factor. By analyzing the general information of agriculture-related journals indexed by SCI, it tried to further improve information dissemination depth and breadth of agricultural science papers, and also provide a certain guiding significance for agricultural research staff to gain scientific dynamic.
