Analysis on the Readers’ Information Requirements and Service under the Network Environment——Taking the Library of Tibet University for Nationalities as the Example

Abstract: University library is the academic service institute aiming at providing document resource and technical supports for university teaching and researching, satisfying the teachers, the students and the other users’ information requirements, which is the main part of university construction. With the rapid development of modern information technology and network, different types of users have different requirements. Meanwhile, the concept and the way of their information searching also keep changing with the steps of the times. Taking the Library of Tibet University for Nationalities as an example, this paper analyzed how to change to reply the rush of network development to the monopoly of library document information service by researching university library and its all types of users.
