Study on the Construction of Digital Introduction System for Ancient Books in Public Library

Abstract: Ancient books are the rich cultural resources of Chinese nation, which contain the profound historical, literary and ideological nature. Reading ancient works today, due to the presence of lack of ancient culture and ancient civilization, is in urgent need of the ancient books introduction work. Through the investigation of the behaviors and demands on ancient books reading, this paper selected classic Historical Records as a case, and illustrated the design scheme of ancient books introduction, the introduction mode with text and reader cared, as well as the destruction and hypertext organization of ancient books from four modules including original reading, text introduction, extended reading and comments, and further analyzed the digital introduction system construction.
